The Luz y Fuerza de Mar del Plata trade union is carrying forward an important Housing Plan. Deputy Secretary General Rubén Chirizola talked about it in an interview with the “Energía Nuestra” radio programme.
“The project consists of 54 homes for union members, although direct relatives like a son or a daughter can also have access to it,” Chirizola said.
He added that the aim “is that members have access to a house which is a result of a very important administrative, political and union activity carried out by our trade union. At Luz y Fuerza Mar del Plata we try to pay attention to social issues in our union work.”
“We started these projects several years ago, this is our third one. It is a very complex but highly important work,” Chirizola remarked.
“A few months ago we signed an agreement with the Housing Institute of the Province, which will finance part of the building projects. The other part will be financed by the 54 beneficiaries.”
This is the third housing plan implemented by the Luz y Fuerza Mar del Plata trade union. The previous ones are now complete with the workers living there.
