Hugo Palamidessi, president of MORENO (Movimiento por la Recuperación de la Energía Nacional Orientadora), analyzed in another Informativo FeTERA news program (Nº 146), the current state of energy affairs and domestic costs of fuels, oil and other energies.
“In terms of oil prices we don’t need to refer to our national situation because we know that prices are fixed outside our country,” warned the president of MORENO.
“Another problem has to do with domestic costs and prices, which are not at all reasonable. We are not a country that lacks oil, but we see that the prices of fuels go up when the barrel of oil rises, however, they do not go down when the price of oil goes down,” Palamidessi remarked.
“This is explained by the fact that there is an oligopoly of which YPF is part. It should be a public company and a witness in the market, but despite belonging in 51% to the national state, it behaves like the worst of multinationals,” he concluded.
