In the province of Córdoba, Argentina, there is a serious lack of fuel that makes production impossible in the province. It must also be added that there is a series of conflicts over the dismissal of workers.
Marcelo Espíndola, General Secretary of the Asociación Gremial y Personal de Estaciones de Servicio de Córdoba y afines (AGTPAC), told in an interview with FeTERA’s informative radio program (No. 139) that “the lack of fuel in the province makes it complicated to produce in general and this raises great concern for labor sources. On top of this, there are also the incipient conflicts for dismissals of personnel.”
“There are no clear policies for production in general or for workers. Hard times are coming. We from AGTPAC – FeTERA have joined the multisectoral 21F and we are one of the coordinators at a provincial level of this new space,” Espíndola remarked.
The union leader also stressed that “moments of greater unity are needed, we have to put aside selfishness and egos because difficult times are coming.”
